Weekly Recap: 8/25 - 8/31

HAPPENINGS OFF THE BLOG

Hi everyone! This has been the most stressful week I've had in quite awhile! I apologize for not commenting back like I should, but I promise to get back to it! First, we have Hurricane Dorian barrelling straight towards Florida, so most of the week was spent doing last minute prep and making sure I had everything ready. Then it moved approximately a thousand times, first making things look way worse for my area, then better, and now it seems that it might stay off the coast entirely?? Honestly, the waiting is the most frustrating part. It doubly sucks because my brother had to cancel his trip to visit because of the timing of his flight.

In other stressful news, my dog had a corneal ulcer and his normal vet is on vacation in Europe. The clinic was double booked and couldn't see him so I then called FOUR other clinics before I found someone who could get him in. Now I get to fight him over six eye drops every day. It has been an absolute delight. :)

This bookish week has been pretty good though! I managed to finish a few books and have randomly become really into YA mystery and thrillers. Any suggestions for your favorite YA thriller/mystery/horror? Bonus if they're on Hoopla! I'm looking to add to my TBR!
